The original Greater Pacific War project of 2006 was an ambitious effort to bring a dozen games to HMGS-East’s Historicon convention all themed on Japan’s war of Global Conquest. It was a very successful effort and produced some great games and great memories and encouraged a lot of people to give this theater of World War 2 another look.
In 2008 we will be bringing the project back to life as a resource on the web and it will cover not just WWII and Japan but all nations and all wars in the Pacific. It will be a community effort where visitors can enjoy the site passively or participate by contributing history, scenarios, game reviews and so forth. Look for the revitalized site in Summer of 2008. |
